Statistics

The statistics function enables administrators to quickly check registration status in a number of specific areas. Clicking the link on each category type gives access to a filtered list of main delegates who fall into each category.  Administrators can click Send Email to send an email message to all main delegates identified by this filter. Each of the three major tools in Conference Manager (registration, abstract submissions, and membership) has its own statistics section, but below is a description of those found within the registration tool.

Registration Types

Outlines a count of delegates who have selected each registration type.  In communities which permit group bookings (see Accompanying Persons), the Registration Types will be separated by Main Delegates and Accompanying Person Types.  A Grand Total is counted at the bottom of the page, which shows the total number of persons attending the conference, including both Main and Accompanying delegates.

Accompanying Person Types cannot be selected to see a list of guests in each category because their registration is linked to their Main Delegate.  A complete list of delegates, including their Delegate Type, can be generated from the All Delegates report.

Payment

Outlines a count of delegates who have fully paid, partially paid, not paid, and who have complimentary registrations (Status N/A). In a separate table, outlines a count of delegates who have paid by the method of payment.

Accommodation

If your conference is not providing accommodation for delegates, or if you are referring delegates to a preferred conference hotel, no information will be generated in this page.

If you are providing accommodation for your delegates, this page will show the number of delegates reserving each room type.

Meals

Outlines a count of delegates and their guests attending each meal, as well as a count of each type of dietary restriction requested for to each meal, and a count of delegates with each type of dietary restriction.

Comprehensive information, including other dietary restrictions and food allergies, can be found using the Meals report export option.

Trips

Outlines a count of delegates who have selected each trip option.

Items

Outlines a count of delegates who have selected each additional purchase item option. In the case of items which can be purchased in quantities, the page also shows the total number of delegates purchasing each item, and the total number of items purchased for each item.

Special Needs

Outlines a count of delegates who require no services, wheelchair access, or who have other special needs. Categories shown in your community may be dependent on which options you have made available to delegates.

Workshops

Outlines a count of delegates who are attending each workshop session, as well as the Session Number and the maximum number of people who may register for each workshop.

Custom Questions

Outlines a count of delegates who have selected various answers from your Custom Questions.  Only responses to List type questions will be shown in this screen - Text type answers will not be included.  A comprehensive listing of these responses can be found using the Other report export.

Status

Outlines a count of delegates by status, including Active registrations and Cancelled registrations.  Note, registrations which have been permanently deleted are not counted using this report.
